Let's continue the discussion.
Each week we gather for spirited Shabbat dinners and fascinating conversation. Why stop there?
Sinai Scholars Society
"Wisdom from Sinai: Revolutionary Ideas That Judaism Introduced to the World."
Continuing education is the norm in every field, so when did your Jewish education end? For most people, it was right after the caterer packed up the bar mitzvah trays. Sinai Scholars is an incredible, thought-provoking eight-week course on Jewish values seen through the lens of the Ten Commandments.
We'll explore the core values that guide a moral society (love and respect, gratitude and loyalty, faith and integrity) and debate opposing principles: self vs. others, truth vs. kindness, making the most of now vs. sacrificing for the future.
- An exclusive society of about 20 students
- Two-hour weekly sessions plus one 3–5 page paper
- A group field trip on a weekend
- Formal graduation and alumni network benefits
- A $350 stipend for those who qualify
